This is my first Gen 3, power paddle. It took some getting used to coming from a beginner, Gen 2 control paddle. The additional power has been great, and the spin makes a world of difference. The Athos feels light and easy to maneuver at the kitchen line. I get a lot of compliments on my fast hands, and I contribute a lot of that to the relatively low twist weight and predictability of this paddle. Very happy with my purchase.
The HELIOS Athos paddle is impressive and high end. It's well built and quality. The paddle has great gritty texture which is perfect for spin. The paddle provides a lot of power and control and has helped improve my serve significantly. The handle fits comfortably in my small hands. Overall, this is an excellent paddle. However, the price is a bit high. Buy it only if you could get it on sale.
This is an excellent pickle ball paddle. It offers great control while also being comfortable in the hand and easy to manipluate the ball. Its been holding up to months of use like a champ and I have no complaints. The shape is interesting and has helped me make better contact with the ball. Its a standard regulation size paddle. Very durable surface and paddle in general. Its light and easy to swing.I think this paddle offers great value for what you're getting. Its one of my favorites to use now and it looks nice on top of everything else. I love the deep red/maroon. It kinda reminds me of Ron Weasley's sweaters. i love it.Great paddle for the more advanced players. I can see how the price may turn some away but i do think it's worth it.
The HELIOS Athos Pickleball Paddle offers an excellent combination of power, spin, and control. The 16mm accelerated core and power surface give shots a strong, stable feel, especially during drives and volleys. The 8oz weight is perfectly balanced—solid enough for power while still being easy to maneuver for quick reactions at the net. The handle length is just right, providing a comfortable grip and enough space for two-handed backhands without feeling bulky. The aerodynamic hybrid shape and unibody design add to its stability and precision. Overall, it feels premium, well-balanced, and durable
This is another accelerated core paddle with a very good aerodynamic shape so that I can get a lot of speed out of it. It is not specifically designed for power because of its thick 16mm core, and 8 oz weight, it does seem to deliver the power if I want it. Mostly it delivers excellent control and it has good Comfort. I can spin the ball all day long with this and get exactly the shot I want. Of the grip. I think it's a good value for money in this price point although it is not a cheap paddle.
