Performance paddles are fundamentally different from recreational paddles. They're not just more expensive they're built from higher-grade materials, constructed to tighter tolerances, and tuned specifically for the demands of competitive play. T700 Raw Carbon Fiber — The Gold Standard

Most of our performance paddles feature T700 Toray raw carbon fiber hitting surfaces. T700 is a Japanese-engineered high-modulus carbon fiber that's considered the gold standard for competitive pickleball in 2026. Unlike standard 3K or 12K carbon weaves, T700 has a coarser, grittier micro-texture that physically grips the ball at impact, extending dwell time and producing measurably higher spin rates often 2,000+ RPM on drives and 1,500+ RPM on rolls. That extra spin translates directly into more aggressive third-shot drops, heavier topspin drives, and sharper angles on dinks.

The raw (unpainted) finish isn't just aesthetic. Paint and lacquer dull the natural texture of carbon fiber and reduce spin generation over time. A raw T700 face preserves that texture for the full life of the paddle, which is why virtually every top-ranked professional uses a raw carbon face in 2026.

Kevlar Aramid - Soft Feel, Hard Hits

Our Kevlar performance paddles offer a completely different feel profile for players who value control and shock absorption. Kevlar aramid fiber the same material used in ballistic protection absorbs impact energy more efficiently than pure carbon, giving Kevlar-faced paddles a softer, plusher feel on contact. That translates to better touch on drops and dinks, less vibration on mishits, and dramatically better durability over thousands of hours of play. Many of our Kevlar builds are actually hybrids Kevlar woven with T700 carbon so you get the spin potential of carbon with the feel and longevity of aramid.

Gen 3 Thermoformed Construction

Every performance paddle uses Gen 3 thermoformed unibody construction. Instead of assembling a paddle from separate face sheets and a glued edge guard, the entire shell is molded as one continuous piece and then injected with high-density foam around the perimeter. The result: a dramatically larger sweet spot, significantly more power on off-center hits, and better long-term durability than traditional cold-pressed designs.
